Feeling Fruity, a mixed pack containing feminized seeds of three captivating strains, gets you going. Energize, glow and bask in happiness, or relax and chill - how you want to celebrate this moment is entirely up to you.
Banana Punch. Think of this strain as a unique bouquet of flowers. Its dense buds, covered with a thick coat of sparkling trichomes. Peeking through the crystals is a mesmerizing coloration ranging from vivid green to purple accentuated by burnt orange pistils. Upon consumption, it delivers just the right level of cerebral high, followed by profoundly relaxing body stone. A small dose is enough to cast away inhibitions, setting the tone for an intimate moment. Alternatively, you could use it to unwind after a fun-filled, mind-blowing time.
Strawberry Cough. Whatever your plan is, how you want to spend it, this is the strain if you need to clear the cobwebs from the head and decide what to do. Share it with your partner and feel the energizing buzz rushing in, and unleashing your desire to do things - together. You may not unlock the mysterious origin of Strawberry Cough, but what you can do is open up to each other and celebrate this special day.
Pineapple Haze. Mentally stimulating weeds, and there is a ton of them around, will always have the Haze family represented. This particular strain delivers the same euphoric high that its lineage is known for, and then some more. The addition of the Pineapple line not only makes it incredibly pleasant to the olfactory senses but also anchors the soaring cerebral high. This strain lets you celebrate Valentine's Day with your special someone basking in joy without immobilizing you, ruining an intimate time.
Growing these three strains do require a degree of experience. Mainly, that is due to Strawberry Cough, and Pineapple Haze - both of which display Sativa growth characteristics. Compared to Banana Punch, these two need a little more time in the grow room. Even so, they compensate you by delivering generous yields.
Growing Feeling Fruity Feminized Seeds
An adequate vertical room is necessary to cultivate Strawberry Cough and Pineapple Haze, both of which grow to medium size. Banana Punch, comparatively, is a smaller plant.
Generally, the indoor temperature should range from 70°F to 85°F during the vegetative period, and from 65°F to 80°F once in the flowering stage. One thing you can do is to maintain a difference of 10°F between the day and night temperature in the second half of the flowering stage. Doing so boosts the production of trichomes and enhances the density of the buds. It also triggers the appearance of purple hues in Banana Punch.
Maintaining optimal humidity range is of utmost importance. The dense foliage of Banana Punch may elevate the moisture level in its lower branches. Except for clones, the humidity level throughout the growth cycle of these strains should never dip below 40% RH. During the vegetative stage, it could be as high as 60% RH. Once the flowering period starts, it should not exceed 50% RH. Towards the final weeks, it should range between 40% to 45% RH as you prepare the plants for harvesting.
All three Feeling Fruity strains not only thrives in organic soil. They also grow exceptionally well in soilless substrates. You have a choice of using hydroponics, which allows for vigorous growth. On the other hand, going organic or veganic is the best way to bring out its fragrance and flavors.
Of the three, Banana Punch is the most manageable strain to grow at home. It sports a small-to-medium frame and will do well in a grow space that can fit medium-to-large plants. Generally, it is highly resilient, tolerating stress well. It also has excellent natural resistance to pests and diseases.
For training, it adapts well to either Screen of Green (ScrOG) or Sea of Green (SOG). Due to numerous lateral branches giving it a bushy structure, you do have to provide regular pruning and trimming. Removing underutilized foliage presents significant benefits. One is to ensure that the moisture level in the lower parts is within the optimal range. Furthermore, it improves the airflow, thus helping in keeping the temperature in check.
After flipping the switch, maintain a daytime and nighttime temperature differential of 10°F. Banana Punch, courtesy of its Purple Punch lineage, can then produce the purple colors in the foliage, adding to its bag appeal. After 7 to 8 weeks, the expected yield per square meter is 400-500 grams. If grown outdoors in a warm, semi-humid environment, it can provide up to 500 grams per plant.
About the only thing that keeps this strain from being deemed as an easy-to-grow plant is the length of the flowering period. Although a Sativa hybrid, its physical structure resembles that of an Indica. The dense foliage does need regular pruning up until a few days before triggering the bloom phase. You can still prune after, but stop 2 to 3 weeks into flowering.
Although its purple coloration is not as vivid or striking as Banana Punch, Strawberry Cough can also produce this hue when subjected to a colder nighttime temperature. It is still aesthetically pleasing, especially as the yellowish pistils turn amber.
This strain could indeed benefit from the ScrOG training technique. Aside from producing a bunch of high-quality buds, all of which have consistent traits, the even distribution of light intensity ensures that the yield could reach 400 grams per square meter. Outdoors, in a sunny climate, each plant can provide up to 500 grams.
Among the three strains, Pineapple Haze is the largest with a medium to tall structure. Similar to Strawberry Cough, it requires regular pruning and thrives in the ScrOG setup.
It has a lengthy flowering period that lasts 10 to 12 weeks. During this time, it develops chunky buds with a spherical shape. Amidst the yellow-green foliage, beautiful brown pistils stick out. Judging by the abundant amber trichomes dotting the inner and outer surfaces of the buds, there is no doubt as to how potent this strain can be.
The work and care put into nurturing this beauty lead to a harvest of up to 600 grams per square meter in an indoor grow room. In an outdoor setting, this strain thrives in a warm, semi-humid climate in which it could yield between 600 to 700 grams of incredibly sticky buds.
Fragrance and Flavor
One thing that the strains included in the Feeling Fruity Mixpack is precisely how its called - sweet in a fruity way. If, based on smell alone, you can never go wrong, impressing your date with any of the three.
Teleportation is real. Close your eyes, and smell of Banana Punch. Immediately, the first thing that comes to mind is a tropical getaway. Since it is Valentine's Day, it would be nice to be together. Just you two in someplace surrounded by the smell of lush vegetation and a mix of banana and pineapple along with subtle floral notes.
The sweet smell of strawberry never fails to perk the senses, and serves only as a prelude to a stimulating cerebral high. An herbal, earthy note with a spicy kick blending into the fruity fragrance adds to its appeal. Its smoke, though, can be harsh. Hence, it is best vaped or smoked using a water bong.
The smell of pineapple brings tropical vibes as you spend time with your beau. Its sweet, fruity scent mixed with the scents of earth and a floral, piney note is sure to delight the palate.
In this mixed pack, both Strawberry Cough and Pineapple Haze are mentally stimulating and uplifting strains. Banana Punch, on the other hand, is relaxing. Hence, depending on what you have planned for the next few hours, at least one is perfect for the occasion.
Incidentally, you may also consider picking either Strawberry Cough and Pineapple Haze to start the day, when there's plenty of physical activities planned. Then, as the day comes to an end, you could use Banana Punch for an intimate recap.
Although it leans toward the Indica side, Banana Punch retains substantial Sativa traits to usher in a stimulating cerebral high during the onset. It can be pronounced yet remain on the gentle side, clearing the head and subtly enhancing the senses. It will take some time - 20 to 40 minutes - for the physical effects to manifest. Once it does, the initial soothing sensation swarming into the body intensifies to melt away tensions, uplifting the mood further.
Be careful not to overindulge as high dosage can lead to couch-lock unless that is the plan. The best time to use this strain is in the evening as the day comes to an end.
Planning an exciting time with your loved one? Strawberry Cough is up for the challenge. A minute or two after taking a toke, this strain delivers an energizing high, kickstarting you and your partner's day. Feeling invigorated, the seemingly limitless energy powers you for hours. At the same time, it unlocks your brain, thus letting you figure out creative ways to consummate this special day.
In more ways than one, Pineapple Haze is similar to Strawberry Cough in that its onset is quick and exhilarating. The euphoric high, while intense, is not likely to be overbearing in moderate dosages.
Many people who have used this strain swear by the long-lasting "vigor" it provides. In the bedroom, or wherever else in the privacy of your space, it can enhance sex by boosting libido. Not to mention, it lets you loose inhibition and unleashes creativity. The rest, of course, is up to you.
All three Feeling Good strains have an average of 20% THC. If there is one surefire way of ruining a promising time, then it is overconsuming. Instead of fun, it may end up with some adverse reactions, such as an elevated level of anxiousness.
A reasonable dose is being responsible, and its rewards extend beyond recreational to medicinal as well. For one, any of the three strains can quickly melt away stress and anxiety. Freed of these burdens, Valentine's Day can be so much more enjoyable.
For some people going through depression, Feeling Fruity strains can help alleviate depressive symptoms. Instead of wallowing in pity on such a beautiful day, the uplifting, euphoric head buzz helps usher in the sense of happiness.
Physical ailments may be a hindrance to celebrating and sharing intimate moments. Pick any of these three strains - Banana Punch, Strawberry Cough, and Pineapple Haze - and it could mitigate chronic pains and aches.
