How to germinate Mac 1 feminized seeds

Your growing journey starts with providing optimum conditions for your Mac 1 seeds to germinate. The dormant seeds need moisture, oxygen, and beneficial temperatures to spring into existence.

You need:

Distilled water in a spray bottle

Mac 1 cannabis seeds

Tweezers

Dinner plates

Two paper towels

Carefully apply the following instructions:

Pick up one of the paper towels and spray it with the distilled water until it's damp. Wring out any excess and lay the towel flat on one of the dinner plates. Lift a corner to check there's no standing water on the plate.

Use the tweezers to place your Mac 1 seeds on the damp towel. Don't pack them in but space them out, leaving about an inch between them. Don't use your hands, as they can transfer pathogens that may prevent germination.

Wet the second paper towel with the purified water. Squeeze out extra moisture and lay it down, covering the weed seeds.

Turn over the second dinner plate and match the rim to the first. It should fully enclose the towels and seeds, preventing light from entering.

Put the plates in a dark, warm, humid spot that's easy to access. Many growers use a drawer or a cupboard in a dark room, while others pop it on top of the fridge. The latter can work if no light enters.

Check on the medium after a day to see if the marijuana seeds have sprouted a life-nourishing taproot. Check the towels and spray them with water if needed. They should never dry out completely. Restrict stray light to a minimum.

Once they've sprouted, wait until the delicate taproot is half an inch long. Use the tweezers to remove the super-sensitive root and carefully plant it in the permanent medium.

Mac 1 feminized seeds usually take no longer than five days to sprout. If there's still no action after more than a week, they may be unviable.

There are several grounds for failure to launch. They include bad seeds, poor storage conditions, and bad genetics, but environmental conditions are the most likely culprits. Germination requires helpful temperatures, moisture, and oxygen levels.

If the mercury runs too high or low, or your Mac 1 seeds are too wet or dry, they might reject the opportunity and remain dormant. 

The condition of the substrate could also discourage sprouting. If the soil is too compact, it gets insufficient oxygen. If it's too loose, the moisture levels are wrong. If they're too deep or shallow, similar issues arise.

You can grow Mac 1 feminized seeds inside, outside, or in a greenhouse. We don't recommend this strain to beginners, as it's a tricky and particular cultivar that requires excellent conditions and plenty of experience to reap the undoubted rewards.

While these plants are adaptable, they're also temperamental, which makes growing them a challenging proposition.

Indoors, these weed plants stretch up to 6–7 feet tall. Consider implementing high-stress training (HST) or low-stress training (LST) to limit vertical growth.

These Mac 1 seeds are feminized, meaning 99% of them grow into female cannabis plants. Females produce the delectable flowers or buds that consumers crave. It also means indoor growers can boost growth by extending the daylight hours to 20 hours on and 4 off.

The Sea of Green (SOG) or Screen of Green (ScrOG) techniques are effective at restraining height. Some growers prefer topping or fimming. 

Change the lighting schedule to 12 hours on and 12 off to prompt flowering. Change the nutrient solution at this time to provide more phosphorus and potassium. Cannabis needs high levels of both during the flowering phase, so an NPK mix of 1:3:3 should suffice.

Flowering lasts 8–10 weeks. Indoor growers can reap a generous yield of nearly 16 oz./m² in prime situations. 

Outdoors, find a spot out of the wind with long hours of direct daylight. After the seedling stage, which lasts 2–3 weeks, start feeding nitrogen-rich nutrients. An NPK rating of 3:1:1 is perfect for the vegetative stage, maximizing growth. 

Mac 1 crops can grow taller outside, reaching eight feet in some cases. The enormous flora also produces heavy outputs, yielding nearly 18 oz./plant.
