Girl Scout Cookies is surely one of the most famous strains in the world, and needs little introduction. It pleasures the senses with a gratifying recreational high that's also said to a have a potent medicinal benefits for psychological and physical dilemmas. These autoflowering seeds from Homegrown Cannabis Co. create a plant that's an absolute joy to cultivate. Developing a sturdy Indica structure while maintaining the height and quick lifecycle of a Ruderalis, it's an excellent choice for growers who want to maximize limited grow spaces without losing out on yields.
The matriarch of the renowned Cookie Family, Girl Scout Cookies is one of the world's most sought-after strains for consumption and breeding. Its sweet, earthy flavor and exceptional potency (up to 25% THC) set it apart from the crowd. Thanks to its suite of desirable attributes, it's been used as the genetic base for hybrids such as Wedding Cake, Blue Cookies, Wookies, and many others.
GSC merges a cerebral buzz and physical high to create the ultimate relaxing nighttime experience. Its effects are similar to those of its progenitor and the founding strain of many West Coast variants, OG Kush. Both plants bestow a euphoric yet calming and sedating influence that is excellent for capping off the day. What distinguishes the younger herb, however, is its mentally-stimulating effect, which it received from Durban Poison, a South African landrace.
These awesome seeds make cultivation more straightforward than ever thanks to their sturdy and fast-maturing nature. They provide a decent-sized harvest just a few weeks after germination.
Growing Girl Scout Cookies Autoflower Seeds
Auto GSC enhances the original plant's Indica structure by blending it with the hardiness and quick growth of Ruderalis. Because it grows so quickly, it's unlikely to have time to recover from injuries or health concerns, so it needs to be treated with care. The plant remains short and squat, and rarely exceeds two or three feet tall.
Apart from the differences mentioned above, Autoflowering Girl Scout Cookies is very similar to its predecessor. Bright green leaves cover its firm branches, and its dense medium-to-small buds are coated in a generous glaze of glistening trichomes. As for the icing on this delicious cake, the plant takes on a gorgeous purple hue when exposed to cold nighttime temperatures.
When the foliage starts to get thicker, you can prune away the lower fan leaves to divert more energy to the swelling colas. Keep the plant healthy with liberal feedings of magnesium and calcium to avoid stunted growth and nutrient deficiencies. It is also best to grow it in a warm environment with low humidity during its 10 to 11 week lifespan.
Indoors, Autoflowering Girl Scout Cookies thrives in a Sea of Green setup with hydroponics or soil. Keep it cozy with temperatures between 68 and 80°F and 30 to 50% relative humidity. It needs 18 to 24 hours of light, with 600 watts of lighting for every square yard. If you pack multiple plants together using this method you can get yields of around 1.96 ounces of fresh flowers per square foot.
Growing GSC auto outdoors is a great idea in warm and sunny locations such as the Mediterranean, but exposing it to erratic, unfriendly weather conditions may put the plant at risk. In the northern hemisphere, planting the seeds around June or July means you make the most of the favorable weather, and you'll be ready for harvest as early as September. Multiple batches can be cultivated, but the last cropping should finish by November. If all goes well, each plant can yield just over 5 ounces.
Fragrance and Flavor
Girl Scout Cookies has a strong earthy scent, with noticeable hints of sweet vanilla and nutmeg bringing a trace of spiciness. The taste is much more diverse, and it's almost like sampling a different strain altogether. It has a prominent fruity kick with a squeeze of lemon, a drop of candy-sweet cherry, and a sprinkle of wood dust. In unison, these factors make an excellent start to what's bound to be a gloriously relaxing experience.
Girl Scout Cookies' delectable buds hold a staggering THC volume of up to 25%. Such a load may bring immense benefits to both the body and mind if enjoyed in appropriate amounts. It starts with a wave of euphoria that almost instantly uplifts the spirit and drowns out dilemmas. Like a ripple effect of positivity, it'll leave you feeling happy and optimistic, providing a momentary escape from the beatings of daily life.
The exhilarated feeling fuels a cerebral adventure that stirs up giggles, gregariousness and artistic thinking. A seemingly unassuageable yearning for food follows, making this strain a great one to consume just before dinnertime.
A few minutes later, the relaxing sensation will engulf the body. The soothing feeling originates in the back of the head, spreading down through the spine towards every limb and extremity. It can cause couch-lock even in small does, followed by extreme drowsiness and eventual slumber.
Autoflowering Girl Scout Cookies is very popular among recreational users, but it's also said to have a range of medicinal benefits. It contains a considerable volume of Tetrahydrocannabinol and salutary terpenes such as a-Pinene, Linalool, Myrcene, Limonene, B- Caryophyllene and Terpinolene. These compounds potentially provide head-to-toe relief.
The strain is perhaps best known for its analgesic effect, but behind the scenes, it does more than silencing aches and pains. It's said to contain anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, giving it the potential to treat the source of the illness itself instead of just masking it. It's been used to help those suffering from the likes of arthritis, migraines, neuropathic pains and fibromyalgia.
GSC's calming effects may help appease hyperactivity, muscle tensions and cramps. Its strong munchies effect has been used to help patients with eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, along with nausea and vomiting which are common side effects of other conditions and treatments.
The Cookie strain is also said to be an impressive tool when it comes to treating mental illness. It may ease stress, anxiety and depression, while also helping insomniacs to get a longer and more restful sleep.
It's important to approach this strain with caution as it's very potent and a little bit goes a long way. It can glue the body to the sofa in small amounts, so if you need to remain mobile you should probably avoid it. In high doses it may have adverse effects – apart from the typical dry eyes and cottonmouth, it may cause dizzy spells, anxiety and paranoia.

Chose these seeds for my first grow ever and am very pleased! 10/10 germinated and sprouted just fine. 10/10 females, no males. Seems like I didn't give them enough nutrients in the first half of vegetative state but corrected later on and looking forward to harvesting these buds in the next week or so!
