Strain Description

Lemon Tree, a descendant of two iconic cannabis lineages, is a multi-faceted hybrid and a potent yet balanced toke. Its effects are mostly cerebral and energizing at first, before crashing down into a state of pure tranquility.

Lemon Tree's compelling aroma is one of its most prominent features, and is a gift from its parents. The first of these is Lemon Skunk – an Indica-leaning strain that is itself a cross between two Skunk phenotypes and famous for its citric bite. On the opposing end of the spectrum, the mostly-Sativa Sour Diesel threw its classic fuel aroma into the mix. It's also from this strain that Lemon Tree inherited its invigorating mental high.

In the grow room, Lemon Tree has a compact structure with evenly-spaced leaves. Although germinating these feminized seeds from Homegrown Cannabis Co. is quite easy, the routine maintenance entailed is slightly more tedious compared to some newbie-friendly strains. Once the flowering period starts, it develops a generous number of bulbous buds with sticky trichomes.

Growing Lemon Tree Feminized

Lemon Tree is not a weak plant by any means, but it requires a bit more care and attention than some other strains. In an optimal environment, it doesn't take long for the plant to begin stretching. It can be topped once it has developed 3 or 4 nodes, and this will help keep its height in check, but you'll need to help it recover from the shock and nurture it back to prime health.

Indoors, it reacts well to vertical training methods such as bending and staking. Apart from topping, it'll need to be pruned to encourage lateral growth. It'll grow upwards during the first two weeks of the vegetative stage, before forming several branches in the weeks leading to the flowering period. A combination of topping, pruning and high-stress training techniques like super cropping helps maximize trichome production and improve overall yield.

Indoors, Lemon Tree flourishes in either organic soil or hydroponics, and it also adapts well to the Sea of Green method. As long as the lighting, temperature and humidity are kept within the optimal range, you could benefit to the tune of 1.15 to 1.63 ounces per square foot after 7 to 9 weeks of flowering.

It can also be grown outdoors, and has a propensity for tropical climates where the days are long and the sun is warm all year-long. But this is not to say the plant won't thrive in regions where it is generally colder. In such cases it will spend longer in the flowering period – perhaps up to the third week of October – in order to make the best of the short days and the reduced sunlight. Once ready for harvest, each plant can yield at least 17 ounces of buds.

Fragrance and Flavor

Lemon Tree emits a pungent, zesty citrus fragrance with a sweet twist of pine that balances the acidity when it's lit up and smoked. Hints of fuel add a slightly sour twist but, ultimately, it's a smooth and exotic smoke.

Effects

For casual users, nothing could be a better replacement for a caffeine rush than the uplifting and energetic buzz of this hybrid. Apart from replenishing lost energy, its motivating push helps you stay on track with daily chores.

After some time has passed, you'll feel a light, soothing pressure in your muscles, with tensions melting away. As the state of relaxation becomes more profound, you'll feel light as a feather both physically and mentally.

It's not a strain to be trifled with, though, and it can knock out even the most hardened veteran when used in excessive dosages. Its mind-bending high may potentially raise anxiety levels, so beginners in particular should approach it gingerly.

Medical

Lemon Tree is a tantalizing addition to the medical cannabis menu, with well-balanced traits that may relieve the symptoms of various physical and mental afflictions. The combined effects of its cannabinoids and terpenes have been used to combat stress, while its mood-elevating properties may invigorate and sharpen the mind. It helps clear away distracting thoughts too, so patients suffering from attention deficit disorders may be able to sustain focus on single tasks. It's also been used by patients battling depression, PTSD and other mental health conditions.

Apart from its cerebral effects, Lemon Tree is also said to have strong painkilling properties that may soothe everyday discomforts and aches, including those caused by muscle spasms.

Feminized Lemon Tree Seeds

Lemon Tree has something for everyone, delivering a cerebral boost at the onset followed by full-bodied bliss that's great for capping off a tiring day. Apart from these traits, its performance in the grow room or garden is superb too.

Lemon Tree produces huge, resinous flowers that are packed with bright, citric flavors. Harvest time may take longer to arrive, but the wait more than pays off in terms of yields and potency thanks to these feminized seeds from Homegrown Cannabis Co.
